Maria Josepha Schmid b. August 22, 1840 in Goerwihl married a Mr Hilpert(...). We have written down that they both died in 1903. I do not know the circumstances of their deaths or how many children they had. Their daughter, Maria Hilpert, did not wish to stay in Germany and immigrated in 1903 to Michigan where she lived as a member of her uncles family. She was born Dec. 10, 1878( probably in Goerwihl) and died Dec 15, 1974 In Houghton Co, Michigan USA at the age of 96. As far as we know, she did not marry. She is buried with her family at Lakeview Cemetery in Calumet, Michigan USA. I do not know the name of the ship she arrived on or where she departed from( Hamburg?).
